MAJORITY RUN is an independent browser game. The site provides a playable majority-prediction game, a protected admin console for comparison management, and the technical API required to deliver comparisons, submit votes, and show aggregated results.

Unless otherwise stated, the texts, design, source code, comparison data, and MAJORITY RUN branding on this website are owned by the operator. Any third-party names, marks, or services belong to their respective owners.

Best score and browser storage

Your best score stays only in this page's memory and is kept across runs on the open page. It disappears when you reload or close the page. It is not saved in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage and is not sent to our server. No storage choice is required. Previously saved best scores and storage preferences are deleted when you open the game.

A random session ID is kept only in the open page's memory, for at most twelve hours. Reloading or closing the page discards it. It links gameplay requests and security checks; it is sent to the backend and is not an advertising identifier. Old persistent browser session IDs and best scores from versions without this choice are removed.

Fonts are served from this website. Loading fonts does not make requests to Google Fonts.

When you play with the backend enabled, the application may process and store the selected question, your answer choice, a pseudonymous session ID, the date and time, and hashed versions of your IP address and user agent. This data is used to count votes, calculate majority results, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you submit a comparison, we store both options, a run ID, a pseudonymous session ID, timestamps and hashed IP/browser information for moderation and abuse prevention. Comparisons are reviewed before publication. When notifications are enabled, the comparison ID and both options are emailed to the operator through Cloudflare Email Service to request review. Session IDs and IP/browser hashes are not included in these notifications. The legal basis for moderation and protection is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our interest in operating a usable and secure game.

The protected admin console processes login credentials only to verify access and protect question management. Admin actions may create or update question records and aggregate vote statistics.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare D1, and Cloudflare's security infrastructure. Cloudflare and the hosting infrastructure may process technical access and security data, including IP address, request URL, date and time, browser/header data, referrer, and security events. This is used to deliver the website, provide HTTPS, caching, DDoS protection, bot checks, and abuse prevention. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Comparison ratings

After making a choice, you can optionally rate the comparison with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. We store the comparison ID, rating, timestamp and a hashed session ID to count one rating per page session and allow you to change it. Ratings influence how often comparisons are selected. The session hash is cleared after 24 hours during subsequent API use; ratings remain for comparison selection. Local fallback ratings stay only in page memory. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our interest in improving the comparison pool and preventing duplicate ratings. No additional browser storage is used.

Cloudflare Turnstile security checks

When enabled, Turnstile is loaded after you request to start a run or submit a comparison, not when the landing page first opens. A separate check protects each comparison submission. We use Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to protect the game against bots and spam. Our legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on that security interest. Any necessary device storage or access is assessed under Sec. 25(2)(2) TDDDG. A request to start or submit is not consent to optional tracking.

Cloudflare processes signals including IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser User-Agent, site key and site origin. It acts as our processor for providing site protection and, according to its privacy notice, as an independent controller for improving Turnstile's bot detection. For that latter purpose Cloudflare states that it relies on legitimate interests. Details and contacts: Turnstile Privacy Addendum. The application uses token validation rather than requesting a pre-clearance cookie; additional Cloudflare security services may have their own storage behavior.

Backend challenge sessions expire after twelve hours. Expired records are deleted during subsequent API use. IP/browser hashes and session identifiers attached to votes and submissions are cleared after 24 hours during subsequent API use. Vote counts and submitted comparison content remain available for gameplay and moderation.

Cloudflare may process data in the EU and the United States. Cloudflare provides transfer safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: Cloudflare GDPR.

If you contact the operator, your message and contact details are processed only to answer your request. Data is deleted when it is no longer needed, unless legal retention duties apply. Vote and comparison data may be retained for gameplay statistics, security, and service operation unless it is no longer needed or deletion is requested where applicable.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a competent data protection authority. This website does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
